EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Dogs have earned a well-deserved reputation for being friends, partners and even caretakers to their human companions.

It’s a cliche to call dogs “man’s best friend,” but they are that and so much more.

They are also a great law-enforcement partner.

At Super Bowl 60 in Santa Clara, California, El Paso Police Officer Roberto Looney and his K9 partner Laky represented EPPD proudly.

The were selected by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to assist with screening at Levi’s Stadium.

“Working alongside law enforcement partners from across the country, they helped ensure a safe experience for all,” the El Paso Police Department said.

Officer Looney and K9 Laky definitely showed they are “El Paso’s Finest.”
