Taylor Sheridan’s “Lioness” is closing streets in downtown Fort Worth this week.
The Paramount+ series began production on its third season in Cowtown in October 2025. The show has already filmed in and around the city, including in north Fort Worth at SGS Studios and in the Berkeley Place neighborhood near TCU.
Streets in downtown Fort Worth will be impacted by filming on Tuesday, Feb. 17, through Thursday, Feb. 19, according to Downtown Fort Worth, Inc.

‘Lioness’ closing streets in downtown Fort Worth
“Lioness” is filming at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse this week.
Eighth Street between Houston and Main streets will be closed from 7 a.m. Tuesday to 4 p.m. Thursday. This street was also closed for filming in late October, according to previous Star-Telegram reporting.
During filming, all downtown businesses will remain open and Fort Worth police will be on-site to facilitate traffic.

Season 1 filmed in Maryland, Delaware, Washington D.C., Paris and Mallorca, Spain. For season 2, the series primarily filmed in and around North Texas, including in Fort Worth, Weatherford, Strawn, Stephenville and Glen Rose.
In addition to Saldaña, “Lioness” stars Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman, Laysla De Oliveira, Genesis Rodriguez, Michael Kelly, Dave Annable, James Jordan, Ian Bohen, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton, Thad Luckinbill and Hannah Love Lanier.
“Lioness” seasons 1 and 2 are streaming on Paramount+.
