The Aggies were 7-1 in conference play and were tied for first in the conference. That is, until they played Alabama, which kick-started a four-game losing streak. Texas A&M (17-8, 7-5) is now in the middle of the conference standings, three games behind first-place Florida.  

Here is where the Aggies are in the latest projects for the NCAA Tournament:

A&M is listed as one of the last teams to make it into the tournament, without having to play a First Four round game. The Aggies are a 10th seed in the tournament, slated to play seventh-seeded Wisconsin. 

Like Lunardi, CBS Sports has the Aggies listed as a No. 10 seed and expects them to play Wisconsin. 

However, they are not on the bubble. 

The Aggies are not listed as a team that has to play a First Four game nor as a team that barely makes the tournament. But Missouri, the team that handed A&M its third straight loss, is on the bubble and is projected to play San Diego State for a spot in the tournament.Â
