AUSTIN, Texas — H-E-B is offering a free live music series at two Austin locations through October in collaboration with Housing Opportunities for Musicians (HOME).

The grocery store says that True Texas Tunes will feature monthly shows at the South Congress and Lake Austin stores, with the Lake Austin location also hosting a special weekly summer series June through August.

The two locations will present 30 free concerts in support of HOME, whose mission is to provide financial housing assistance for Austin’s aging musicians in need.

The grocery store says that True Texas Tunes will kick off Wednesday at 5 p.m. with a free concert by Red Young and Friends at the Lake Austin H-E-B.

The Lake Austin location will hold free concerts at 5 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month beginning in March.

H-E-B’s South Congress store will hold concerts every third Saturday of the month beginning at 11 a.m., with the first concert being held on Feb. 21.
