As the third H-E-B in Tarrant County approaches its summer 2026 opening, the company is hosting a hiring fair for the Mid-Cities store.
The job fair on Wednesday is for 600 full- and part-time positions including deli, bakery, market, produce, seafood and the True Texas BBQ restaurant.

The fair Wednesday is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the H-E-B Mid-Cities staffing office, 3600 William D Tate Ave., Suite #100 in Grapevine.
H-E-B is offering benefits for most hourly store roles including health, dental and vision insurance, along with a 10% H-E-B product discount, annual pay reviews and a 401(k) plan with 4% company match.
H-E-B broke ground on the 126,000-square-foot store in November 2024 at the corner of Cheek-Sparger Road and Rio Grande Boulevard, down the street from Glade Parks shopping center .
In recent years, H-E-B has expanded its footprint in the Metroplex. The grocer has opened stores in Allen, Dallas, Frisco, Fort Worth’s Alliance, Mansfield, Prosper and Melissa.
Last summer, H-E-B announced plans to build a store in Walsh, along Interstate 20 just across the Parker County line. That store, which is within the Fort Worth city limits, is expected to be complete in December 2026.
Along with the flagship H-E-B franchise, the grocer is also expanding its Joe V’s Smart Shop brand into the area with the first Joe V’s opened a 58,000-square-foot store in Irving
H-E-B, with headquarters in San Antonio operates over 455 stores in Texas and Mexico and employs over 175,000 people.
