Geraldine “Jeri” Castner was born on December 29, 1940, in Knoxville, Tennessee. She moved to Lubbock, Texas, in the early 1960s.
Jeri and her husband, Lonny Castner, owned and operated an antique business in Pueblo, Colorado, and later in Lubbock. In the 1980s and 1990s, she was the owner of Jeri’s La Vista Video. In 1996, she began working for Walmart, where she remained until her retirement in 2018.
She is survived by her children, who loved her dearly, Travis Ogle and his wife Cathy of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Leigh Ann Lindsey of Plano, Texas; Teresa Odorizzi and her husband Scott of Lubbock, Texas; and Clint Castner of Lubbock, Texas; and her stepson, Craig Castner of Lubbock, Texas.
She had grandchildren, Ashley, Rachel, Colten, Trey, Davis, and Turner; and great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Nathanael, baby Daniel, Arianna, Gilbert, Annalise, and Zoe.
She was truly loved and already missed.
A visitation will be held at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, located at 6025 82nd St., Lubbock, TX 79424, on February 22, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A committal service will take place at Lubbock Cemetery, 2011 E 31st St, Lubbock, TX 79404, on February 23, 2026, from 10:00 am to 10:30 am.
