Is that Nicole Kidman? Taylor Sheridan show shuts down Fort Worth streets for filming at steakhouse

Several Downtown Fort Worth streets are closed this week for the filming of Taylor Sheridan’s latest show.

“Lioness” is filming scenes through Thursday, according to Downtown Fort Worth Inc. Street closures include 8th Street from Houston to Main streets through 4 p.m. Thursday. Fort Worth police will be on scene helping with traffic flow.

The show is filming scenes at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, according to Downtown Fort Worth Inc.

The series is about a team of women who go undercover with the CIA to fight the war on terror. It was renewed for its third season in August 2025.

“Lioness” has filmed frequently around North Texas, including in Dallas at the Ritz-Carlton back in January.

The cast is particularly star-studded, including Oscar winners Nicole Kidman, Zoe Saldaña and Morgan Freeman.

Sheridan, who is from Fort Worth, often uses North Texas a backdrop for his universe of shows, including “Yellowstone” and “Landman.”
