The Hendrick Scholarship Foundation’s anticipated annual TASTE benefit returns to Mercedes-Benz of Plano next month.

The Hendrick Scholarship Foundation’s annual TASTE benefit will return to Mercedes-Benz of Plano on Thursday, March 5. Featuring small plates served across an array of sponsored tasting stations, the evening will bring together over a dozen top area chefs and restaurants. A theme of Celebrate: Decades of Dedication has been selected to mark the event’s 35th year.

The organization has raised over $3 million for Plano ISD students to-date.

Founded in 1991, and named in honor of former Plano ISD Superintendent Dr. Wayne Hendrick, the Hendrick Scholarship Foundation provides scholarships and mentorship to local students who have overcome significant adversity. Over $3 million has been awarded to-date, with TASTE representing the organization’s signature yearly fundraiser.

Tasting stations will feature dishes from over a dozen top local restaurants.

Plano’s own resident rancher and forward-thinking developer, Rutledge Haggard, will serve as TASTE 2026’s Honorary Chair. Journalist and media expert Rikki Ragland is set to emcee. Participating restaurants will include Eddie V’s, Anaya’s Seafood, Knife by John Tesar, Lockhart Smokehouse, Rise Soufflé, and Uchiko, among many more. Rounding out the evening, guests are invited to participate in live and silent auctions, or purchase raffle tickets, for a chance to win an array of prizes.

Tickets for TASTE start at $175 and can be purchased online. For more information on the beneficiary, visit hendrickscholarship.org.
