City-owned property in downtown Pflugerville could become the site of a new business, as the city is seeking proposals to redevelop or repurpose a building along East Pecan Street.

The city of Pflugerville owns an 1,845-square-foot building in the downtown area, which formerly was home to a barbershop and speciality shop.
As the city continues efforts to revitalize the downtown area, experienced developers, restaurateurs, retailers and entertainment operators are invited to submit proposals to redevelop the building.
The property is located at 101 and 105 E. Pecan Street. The deadline to submit a proposal is March 18. Those interested in submitting a proposal can learn more about the process here.
