If you’ve ever spotted a pothole that seems to be multiplying, a streetlight that’s gone dark, or a city issue that just needs the right set of eyes, Austin 3-1-1 wants to be the easy button for getting it handled.
Austin 3-1-1 is focused on supporting Austinites and keeping the city running smoothly, and one of the main ways residents can connect is through the Austin 3-1-1 mobile app. Austin 3-1-1’s Brynn McCurley joined Trevor Scott in the studio to share more about their services and what’s new in the app.
“We are the information center of the city of Austin,” said McCurley, “So if you have questions about city-related information or services, you can always give us a call.”

The app gives people another way to reach the city and submit service requests, adding to the different options available for reporting issues. In 2026, the app also comes with a notable update: it’s now offered in another language.
“There’s something new for the mobile app in 2026, a new offering that is super exciting. Now the app is in Spanish. So if your phone is set to Spanish already, you can start submitting service requests in your language. So it’s great, and it makes it so much easier for that demographic.”
Austin 3-1-1 also stays active in the community and on social media, helping residents find information and connect with city services.
For more information on Austin 3-1-1 and the mobile app, residents can find official Austin 3-1-1 resources online and in the app.
