A massive dust storm enveloped the city of Lubbock in west Texas on Tuesday, February 17, as dry and windy conditions prompted weather officials to issue a Red Flag Warning and Blowing Dust Advisory in the region.
“Winds will be out of the southwest around 25-35 mph with gusts as high as 60 mph possible,” the National Weather Service warned.

“This is as bad as I’ve seen it,” Lowrey says in the video. “This is crazy. You literally can’t see in front of you,” he continues.
