CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Early voting is underway in Nueces County for the March 3, 2026, primary election, with county officials reporting more than 4,600 ballots cast during the first days of voting.
Unofficial audited data from the Nueces County Elections Department shows a total of 4,668 early votes, as of Thursday, including 2,510 Democratic ballots and 2,158 Republican ballots.
That represents a combined countywide turnout of 2.45 percent so far. The Nueces County Courthouse recorded the highest volume of early voters, followed by Veterans Memorial High School, Carroll High School, and Greenwood Senior Center.
Election officials audit and release daily reports that track turnout by location and political party, noting that the figures remain unofficial until final certification.
Early voting continues through February 27, with turnout expected to rise as Election Day approaches.
