Dallas Stars head coach Glen Gulutzan on Thursday gave a positive update on Radek Faksa.

Gulutzan told reporters there’s a “99%” likelihood the forward will be in the Stars’ lineup when the NHL season starts back up next week. Dallas’ next game comes at home against Seattle on Wednesday.

Faksa appeared in Czechia’s first three games of the Olympics, but suffered an upper-body injury in their final group stage game against Switzerland.

Czechia was eliminated two games later in overtime by Canada on Wednesday. Faksa was sidelined for both contests.

Gulutzan said Faksa would probably have played the Olympic semifinal if Czechia had won.

The first-time Olympian was among seven Stars competing in the men’s tournament, and has so far been the only one sent home.
