SAN ANTONIO – A man has been arrested and charged with retaliation after allegedly posting an online threat directed at Mayor Jones.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the department’s Fusion Unit received information on Tuesday about a threatening comment posted on a news article on X from Fox San Antonio stating, “@KABBFOX29 More wasted money, stop voting democrat Bexar county. We should be hunting these evil demons down and executing them, starting with @Mayor_GOJ.”
Police Chief William McManus said that threats of violence are taken seriously.
“We take comments that threaten harm to an individual seriously and will take the necessary steps to thoroughly investigate these incidents,” McManus said.Comment with Bubbles
