CEDAR PARK, Texas — Police are investigating after burglars drove their car into vape shop locations in Pflugerville and Cedar Park.

Cedar Park police confirmed that they are investigating a robbery at the Drip n Rip Vape shop on Cypress Creek Road in Cedar Park that occurred around 3:10 a.m. Thursday morning.

Security camera footage shows a car backing into the entrance of the store, breaking down the front door to allow the burglars to enter the shop and steal merchandise.

Pflugerville police confirmed that they are also investigating a similar burglary at another Drip n Rip Vape shop, this one located at 1912 W. Pecan St.

On Oct. 14, at around 12:45 a.m., officers responded to a reported burglary in progress at the store. Pflugerville PD said that a vehicle had been used to force entry into the business, and that the suspect fled the scene on foot.

Police also said that the vehicle used in the break-in had been stolen out of Austin.

“We just found out it is not us being targeted,” Lacy Parton Hobble, co-owner of the vape shops, said. “It is multiple stores including liquor stores. These group of people are stealing cars and driving them into stores. They’ve cause just so much money and damages. We want to warn other stores and small businesses.”
