Intersections near Commerce and St. Paul streets in downtown Dallas were blocked off by dozens of fire trucks and police cruisers Thursday afternoon, snarling traffic through the city center.
Crime scene tape was drawn across the intersection of Commerce and St. Paul, wrapped between two poles and surrounded a yellow DART bus that was tilted to the side.
At 1:26 p.m., Dallas Fire-Rescue was assigned to an incident involving a pedestrian under a DART bus, according to a statement from the agency.
The man received a non-life-threatening injury to his upper body and was taken to the hospital, the statement said.

Dallas Fire-Rescue active call logs showed 15 units responding to the incident.
About 2:10 p.m., a DART tow truck arrived and began hooking up to the front of the bus. The bus was removed from the scene at 2:20 p.m.
Police continued to canvas the area with a drone and measuring device as passengers who had gotten off the towed bus called out to ask if another one was on its way. The area where the bus had been was marked on the concrete with orange paint.
This is a developing story.
