The Pink Game, dedicated to supporting women battling and surviving breast cancer, will take place at the University Center tonight at 6 p.m.

All proceeds from this game go to Krewe Da Cha Chas, an organization dedicated to supporting women and families facing breast cancer.

Over the past two weeks, Southeastern’s Greek life has been tabling in the breezeway to show support and raise funds for this organization.

The sorority Alpha Sigma Tau’s national philanthropy is a women’s wellness initiative, which goes hand-in-hand with what the Pink Game stands for.

AST president Brinley Manville said, “Alpha Sigma Tau is proud to support Krewe Da Cha Chas and their Pink Game Fundraiser efforts both on and off campus. AST tabled on campus to encourage students and faculty to get involved by donating to our link chain.”

She also stated, “We connected with local businesses in the community to expand our impact, and Lion Nutrition generously joined the effort to help us fundraise.”

Alpha Sigma Tau is not the only sorority on the row that is supporting this initiative. Phi Mu has also been raising funds for Krewe Da Cha Chas through breezeway tabling and donations.

Phi Mu distributed over 400 flyers and painted banners to hang in the University Center, helping raise awareness of the cause.

Phi Mu president Katie Ward said, “From Phi Mu’s perspective, supporting breast cancer is incredibly impactful. The Pink Game is more than just a women’s basketball game; it’s an opportunity to honor survivors, uplift fighters, remember those we’ve lost, and rally our campus around a cause that touches so many lives.”

At the game, survivors and fighters will receive free tickets and special shirts, while friends and family must purchase a ticket to attend. The first 150 people there will receive a free special shirt.

Come out tonight at 6 p.m. to the UC to support not only the Lady Lions against Texas A&M Corpus Christi, but also breast cancer patients and survivors for Krewe Da Cha Chas.
