LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Lubbock Christian University’s Division of Music will host Lights, Camera, Music – A Dinner Concert on Tuesday, February 24, at 6:30 p.m. in the Baker Conference Center on the LCU campus.
The evening will feature the LCU Symphonic Band and Jazz Band performing beloved music from the silver screen, bringing iconic movie moments to life. Audience members will enjoy selections from blockbuster films and timeless favorites, including Star Wars, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Superman, and more.
Guests will be treated to a casual dinner concert complete with classic movie concessions, including fresh popcorn, soft drinks, a nacho bar, pizza, and candy, creating a fun, family-friendly night of entertainment.
Tickets are $40, with all proceeds benefiting the LCU Symphonic Band’s upcoming tour to San Antonio, where the ensemble will perform alongside the St. Mary’s University Wind Ensemble. The tour will include a world premiere performance of Enchanted Rock by composer Charles Booker, offering students a unique and prestigious performance opportunity.
