City Pickle USA is now open in Fort Worth.

Winter Storm Fern delayed the planned grand opening and a rescheduled date for that event is still pending, said Hannah McKeever, head of membership and corporate sales.

The facility hosted a members-only event Feb. 1 and opened to the public Feb. 2.

The details

City Pickle USA has 16 pickleball courts with 10 indoor and six outdoor courts. The first day the outdoor courts could be used was Feb. 16, as cold weather prevented the staff from getting the paint for the lines finished.

The full-service gym features equipment and wellness amenities such as a sauna, red light therapy and cold plunge, McKeever said.

The facility has a bar and pro shop, both open to the public regardless of membership, she said. There are also corn hole and a chipping green amenities outside.

As of Feb. 16, the event space is still under construction.

Diving deeper

City Pickle USA guarantees a minimum of 200 hours of open play every month, as well as leagues and tournaments. Annual membership prices range from $525-$1,325, according to its website.

McKeever said 180 members have signed up for memberships since the facility opened.

City Pickle USA is located next to Andretti’s Indoor Karting & Games in the North City development along I-35W.
