LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Texas Tech officials confirmed that the naming rights deal for Jones AT&T Stadium is set to expire at the end of the academic year in May.
Texas Tech and AT&T is still in talks to partner with the athletic department but not for naming rights.
Texas Tech is already talking to other potential corporations and aims to have a new partner by football season.
The final event will be George Strait’s headlining shows in April before the deal is over.
