Police were reportedly involved in a shooting in West Dallas on Friday morning, officials said.

The incident was reported shortly after 10:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of Shaw Street, near Sylvan Avenue and Canada Drive, according to a police update.

No officers were injured, police siad.

SWAT officers were responding to a location to execute a warrant when they “encountered a suspect with a gun,” police said.

Police said shots were fired and a suspect was injured, but more details were not immediately available.
