Event: Figure skating – women’s singles, team event
Nation: United States
Glenn’s Olympics concluded Thursday when she completed her free skate in the singles competition, finishing fifth overall. The performance marked a big bounce-back for Glenn after she struggled in the singles short program and team event free skate. Despite the up-and-down Olympics, the three-time U.S. champion will head home with a gold medal from the team event.

Bilka’s Olympic debut was golden as the United States beat Canada in an instant-classic, overtime thriller in the gold-medal game Thursday. The Coppell native was named to the Olympic All-Star team after she led the U.S. with four goals, while adding a further three assists across seven games in Milan.

Finland
Four Stars players — Mikko Rantanen, Miro Heiskanen, Roope Hintz and Esa Lindell — are representing Finland. Rantanen is leading Finland in scoring with 6 points in five games while Heiskanen came through in a big way with a late game-tying goal to help his country progress to the semifinal round.

Canada
Stars defenseman Thomas Harley is set to play for a gold medal with Canada. Harley has been a significant blue-line contributor for Canada with four points in five games, including an assist on Mitch Marner’s overtime winner in the quarterfinal win over Czechia.

Stars goaltender Jake Oettinger has dressed for multiple games these Olympics as the backup to starter Conor Hellebuyck. He has not yet taken the ice.
Gold-medal game vs. Canada: Sunday, Feb. 22 at 7:10 a.m.
Czechia
Forward Radek Faksa contributed two assists in three games for Czechia at these Olympics. Unfortunately, he missed out on his country’s final two games with an upper-body injury. Czechia was eliminated after an overtime loss to Canada in the quarterfinals.
Emily Chan
Hometown: McKinney
Event: Pairs figure skating
Nation: United States
Event schedule
Skating with Spencer Akira Howe, a private first class in the U.S. Army, Chan finished seventh in the pairs competition. They briefly led the competition as the first pair to break the 200-point mark during the free skate.

Delka finished 24th out of 25 athletes in the women’s skeleton event. It matched her 24th place finish from the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
