Austin FC fans counting down to kickoff have another way to stay in the loop this season: a local podcast called Moontower Soccer. The show focuses on all things Austin FC, with hosts Landon Cotham and Jeremiah Bentley offering previews and discussion around the club and the new season.

The podcast aims to come prepared, keeping “hot takes” to a minimum while digging into what’s happening with the team.
“We like to dive into the analytical side of the game, that’s where I really enjoy it,” said Cotham, “But we try to keep it fun, entertaining. and accessible. That’s really important to us as well as trying to give something to the real sports nerd, while not closing the gate on anybody else, and trying to teach people some things if they want to learn those as well.”
The podcast has grown from a project with friends to a standard for local Austin FC fans.
“Originally, we were working with another group of fans that had a podcast,” shared Bentley, “And it was kind of a whoever wanted to show up and talk about whatever they wanted to show up and talk about did it. And that worked for a while. And Lan and I were the only one show it up. So, we wanted to put some structure to it and wanted to talk about Austin FC because there was so much excitement about the team coming to town at that point. So we decided to make it a real thing and do our own show,”
