CCPD investigating motorcycle accident on SPID and Ennis Joslin Rd.

CCPD PIO Antonio Contreras told 3NEWS that a motorcycle rider was injured in an accident on Friday night and transported to a local medical facility.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — According to Corpus Christi Police Department Public Information Officer Senior Officer Antonio Contreras, a motorcycle rider was injured in a crash Friday night near South Padre Island Drive and Ennis Joslin Road.

Contreras told 3NEWS the rider was transported to a local medical facility. The extent of their injuries has not been released at this time.

He said one other vehicle was involved.

CCPD officers are investigating the cause of the crash. Please avoid the area if possible. Details are extremely limited at this time. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
