Early voting in the March Joint Primary Election is underway and Travis County voters can take advantage of hours this weekend.

Travis County Clerk Dyana Limon-Mercado reminded voters of the opportunity on Friday. “Didn’t get around to voting this week?” the post reads. “Do it this weekend Sat., Feb. 21, from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. or Sun., Feb. 22, from 12-6 p.m. Make voting easy and part of your weekend plans!”

Visit VoteTravis.gov to learn details about the election, find your nearest polling location, and download sample ballots for the Democratic and Republican parties.

Early voting started on Tuesday and ends on Feb. 27. Regular polling hours during weekdays are 7 a.m.-7 p.m. There are 39 different polling locations across Travis County. Election Day is March 3.

As a reminder, electronic devices are not allowed inside the voting room. Any recording of sound or images within 100 feet of the polling place is prohibited. Devices include (but are not limited to) cell phones, cameras, phone cameras, and sound recorders.

Also note that Texas law requires voters to show one of seven forms of approved ID at the polls. Those include a Texas driver’s license, Texas handgun license, U.S. passport, U.S. citizenship certificate with photo, Texas election ID certificate, U.S. military ID card, and Texas personal ID card.
