Mexican alternative rock band Elefante is embarking on its 30th anniversary tour with a stop in El Paso.

The band’s Elefante Tour 30 Años concert will be at 8 p.m. March 15 at the Lowbrow Palace, 1006 Texas Ave. It’s an all-ages show. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

The band will cover more than 30 dates in the United States, as well as Mexico, Canada, France, England, Spain, Ecuador and Colombia.

The tour kicks off Feb. 26 at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City, a venue where the band consistently sells out.

Formed in 1993, Elefante is known for its melodic style and romantic lyrics, with more than 20 international top 10 hits, two Latin Grammy nominations, and popular songs such as Asi es la Vida, “Mentirosa,” and “Sabor a Chocolate”.

Tickets for the El Paso show are available at lowbrowpalace.com and Ticketmaster.com. Tickets start at $80 plus fees on the Lowbrow website and $157 to $183 plus fees on Ticketmaster.com
