The Longhorns (17-9, 8-5 SEC) will again have to play without forward Lassina Traore, who is expected to miss his fourth consecutive game with soreness in a surgically repaired knee. But Texas may want to play a bit smaller against the up-tempo Bulldogs anyway; in Texas’ 87-67 win over Georgia last month, Traore and starting post Matas Vokietaitis only played a combined 40 minutes while wing Dailyn Swain (39 minutes, 26 points) and guard Tramon Mark (34 minutes, 23 points) carried the load.

Blue Cain scored 20 points in Georgia’s 86-78 road win Tuesday at Kentucky, and Jeremiah Wilkinson chipped in 19 points. Those two guards lead the Bulldogs (18-8, 6-7) in scoring for the season.

Follow below for live scores and updates Saturday as the Texas Longhorns visit the Georgia Bulldogs.

The Dunkyard Dogs is a pretty cool nickname for Georgia, but they’re all about the 3-pointer. Georgia averages about nine 3s and almost 30 3-point attempts a game. They’re already 4-of-5 from 3-point range today.

The Bulldogs have made four of their first five shots, including both of their 3-point attempts. Check that; the officials review one bomb and rule it a 2. Dailyn Swain counters with all six of the Texas points on 3-of-4 shooting. He is sly and slippery when he gets in the paint.

Dailyn Swain comes off a screen and nails a midrange jumper for Texas, and they’re off in Athens.
