Dallas Trinity FC‘s six-game unbeaten streak has come to an end.

Trinity fell 2-0 to on to road to Carolina Ascent FC on Saturday at American Legion Memorial Stadium.

Sydney Studer scored two goals, one in the 26th minute and another in the 63rd.

Trinity remains in third place in the Gainbridge Super League after the loss.

“I actually thought we played quite well for a lot of moments of the game. We were very wasteful in the final third and had very good opportunities to score in both the first and second half, but we didn’t take advantage of it,” Head Coach Nathan Thackeray said. “We’ll keep working and improving. As I said to the team, we won’t be defined by results, we’ll be defined by performance and application.”

Dallas Trinity FC returns to action against the Houston Dash in the I-45 Texas Showdown next Saturday at the Cotton Bowl.
