McConaughey is a proud alumnus of UT Austin, where he has also been a professor since 2015. Chalamet recently landed his third Oscar nomination for his role in the recent blockbuster hit, “Marty Supreme.”

The special titled “A CNN & Variety Town Hall Event: Timothée Chalamet and Matthew McConaughey” will be filmed in front of an audience of UT students at the Moody College of Communication. It’s scheduled to air nationally on CNN on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. Students attending the live event will have the opportunity to ask questions of the actors.

The conversation is part of a series of high-profile town halls hosted by CNN and Variety.
