The colder weekend is set to continue through Sunday before the weather warms up later this week in North Texas.

Sunday is starting sunny and cool with day temperatures topping out at 57 degrees, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office.

Nighttime temperatures are forecast to drop to a near-freezing 33 degrees.

The coming week is expected to start with only a day of temperatures in the 50s before ramping up to 70s starting Tuesday.
