Morris is coming off of a strong showing at the Amer Ari Invitational, finishing as the top UTA player on the leaderboard. The freshman tied for 70th in the tournament and recorded a total score of a 3-under 213, highlighted by an 8-under-par final round that featured nine birdies.
Competing at the Amer Ari Invitational, Sinha finished in a tie for 87th, one stroke over par. The freshman improved in each round, turning in scores of 75-72-70– 217.
Also competing at the Amer Ari Invitational was Chevalier, who had an adventurous final round. The junior was 2-over-par with just four holes to go after bogeying three of his previous four, but mirrored himself by birdieing three of his final four holes to card a 1-under 71 in the third round. Chevalier finished in a tie for 95th with a 3-over-par 219.
Lyman finished 115th at the Amer Ari Invitational. The freshman finished with scores of 78-76-73– 227 for the tournament.
Jen Chie Huang
The lone lineup change brings Huang into the fold for the first time this spring. Huang last competed in the Mavericks final tournament of the fall — the Saint Mary’s Invitational — where he shot a 5-over 77 in the second round followed by a 4-over 76 in the final round. It was one of three tournaments he competed in during the fall.
