Dallas Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg will miss Sunday’s game against the Indiana Pacers due to a midfoot injury.Flagg sustained the injury on Feb. 10 and has missed multiple games, including the Rising Stars Game.The former Duke star is averaging 20.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 4.1 assists in his rookie season.

Cooper Flagg continues dealing with a midfoot injury suffered prior to the NBA All-Star Break and will miss the Dallas Mavericks’ Sunday afternoon matchup against the Indiana Pacers.

The star rookie and former Duke star suffered the injury on Feb. 10 in a loss at Phoenix, causing him to miss the final two games before the break for the All-Star game. Flagg was also supposed to compete in the Rising Stars Game that weekend, but missed out due to the injury, instead flying to Durham to watch the No. 3 Blue Devils battle No. 20 Clemson.

The Mavericks are a disappointing 19-36 in Flagg’s rookie season, but he has been one of the lone bright spots for the team, averaging 20.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 49 games.
