A San Antonio firetruck responding to an emergency crashed with a Bill Miller Bar-B-Q delivery truck Friday on the West Side, sending multiple drivers to the hospital.
The crash occurred just before 8:30 a.m. near Marbach Road and Military Drive West. Fire Engine 44 was responding to a medical call with its lights and sirens activated when it collided with a Bill Miller truck and several other vehicles, according to the San Antonio Fire Department.

Medics took three drivers to the hospital with minor injuries. Four firefighters that were in the firetruck went to the hospital as a precaution, per SAFD protocol.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
