LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Temperatures on this Sunday were below normal for the region. In fact, a cold start with lows in the 20s and the afternoon highs only made it to the mid-50s for most of the South Plains.
Another cold morning ahead as lows fall to the 20s again under fair skies and light winds.

However, with gusty winds, dry conditions and very warm temps the fire danger will return to critical level over the area.
For the week ahead temperatures will be above normal with sunshine and typical spring winds.
