AUSTIN, TX — Austin police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a driver who struck a pedestrian and fled the scene last month, leaving the victim with life-threatening injuries.
The crash occurred around 9:47 p.m. Sept. 26 in the 2100 block of Willow Creek Drive, according to the Austin Police Department. A woman was struck by what investigators believe was a red pickup truck.

The driver left without calling 911 or rendering aid, police said. The victim was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains hospitalized.
Highway Enforcement Unit detectives are asking anyone who saw or heard anything in the area at the time to come forward.
