The Houston Fire Department is fighting a fire near Greens Bayou that has already burned more than 100 acres, officials said.
Officials have estimated the fire at 175 acres with 30% containment, per social media posts from the department. They started fighting the fire Saturday afternoon.
District Chief Robert Ausmus said that a forward progression of the fire has been stopped. The wind pattern is expected to change Monday but Ausmus said they are preparing for it.

“We feel fairly confident right now we’re going to be able to hold it during this wind event,” Ausmus said.
