A blizzard has postponed Dallas’ business delegation to New York City.
Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson and City Manager Kimberly Bizor Tolbert delayed their end-of-week trip with local business leaders to attract more corporations to Dallas.
The delegation was scheduled to visit New York on Thursday and Friday, but as of Monday, no new date has been set. Meteorologists warn that more snow could fall in the New York area Wednesday.
Johnson and Tolbert announced the trip last Thursday, emphasizing Dallas’ growing reputation as a financial hub. They highlighted recent expansions by Goldman Sachs and Scotiabank, as well as the launch of three stock exchanges in the area.
