TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas — A burn ban has been put into effect for unincorporated Travis County, this coming after a disaster was declared to combat growing wildfire threats.
The burn ban was announced this week due to rising drought conditions and high fire risk.
The burn ban restricts outdoor burning, grilling and welding.
