Monster Jam returns to the UTEP Sun Bowl March 14th and 15th and, this year, its bringing one monster truck to El Paso for the very first time.
Monster Jam tickets are already on sale via Ticketmaster where you can also purchase “Pit Party” Passes. Those allow you to get up close photos of the trucks and drivers as well as learn more about them, how they’re built and the sport of monster truck racing.
This year is an extra special one as Monster Jam brings a new monster truck to El Chuco. For the first time EVER, the Bailey Circuit monster truck will thrill El Paso fans.
Inspired by Ringling’s favorite robotic pup, this Monster Jam® truck has the same wag-worthy energy and can-do spirit as the original Bailey Circuit. Whether it’s jumping, spinning, or rolling in the dirt, Monster Jam’s Bailey Circuit is here to chase down big air jumps and backflips and fetch some fun for the whole crowd. Tail wags included! – monsterjam.com
Who Is Bailey Circuit?
Bailey Circuit is a robot dog who is part of the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey circus family. She’s said to have a great personality, is a bit of a know it all and she’s got jokes. She’s also been known to accompany her monstrous alter ego at Monster Jam events and races.
When Did Monster Jam Start?
Monster Jam first got started 26 years ago in 2000. The freestyle event was won by, (arguably), everyone’s favorite monster, Grave Digger. The racing event win went to Goldberg.  Goldberg flamed out quickly, being “retired” the following year, (2001), when the WWF assumed ownership of the WCW including all its events, trucks, copyrights, etc.
Partying at the Monster Jam Pit Party in El Paso 2023
Before the Monster Jam shows, there’s always a pit party event, where you can meet the drivers & see the big trucks up close. If you’ve never been a pit party; here’s what El Paso, Texas got earlier this year at the UTEP Sun Bowl.
