A Dallas, Texas, mother and her two young daughters have been missing since Sunday evening after leaving a Plano movie theater, prompting an urgent search by local authorities.

Alexcia Pruitt, 30, was last seen around 8 p.m. at the Cinemark theater on Dallas Parkway with her 5-year-old daughter and 3-month-old infant.

The disappearance has raised immediate concerns because Pruitt requires medication for schizophrenia and left home without her cellphone, limiting her ability to communicate or call for help.

Witnesses possibly spotted the trio walking near a Jack in the Box on Windhaven Parkway before they headed north on the service road. No confirmed sightings have been reported since Sunday night.

Pruitt wore a black jacket, white shirt, and denim shorts when she vanished. She carried a black backpack-style diaper bag.

Her older daughter was dressed in a white furry jacket with white and purple sweatpants. The infant wore a onesie and was wrapped in a pink blanket.

The Dallas resident’s family contacted authorities after she failed to return home. Police believe Pruitt was carrying the infant when they disappeared.

Plano police have classified the case as an endangered missing person investigation. They’re urging anyone with information to call 911 immediately.

The search continues as concerns mount for the welfare of all three missing persons. Time remains critical given Pruitt’s medical needs and her children’s young ages.
