SAN ANTONIO – UT Arlington men’s golf competed in its first two rounds at the 2026 Military City Collegiate. The start of the tournament was delayed due to frost and as a result, the Mavericks are yet to wrap up the second round after it was suspended due to darkness.
Play is slated to resume at 8 a.m. Tuesday at the Canyons Course at TPC San Antonio. UTA will pick up where it left off before moving on to the third and final round.
At the end of day one, Ajay Morris was pacing the Mavericks, placing 13th individually. The freshman is 2-over-par in total and shooting an even-par 64 with two holes to play in the second round.
Behind Morris are Arth Sinha, Michael Chevalier, Nicholas Lyman and Jen chie Huang. The remaining Mavericks have two holes to play before their second round scores become official with the exception of Sinha who will need to complete three.
