Jacob David Musukwa from Chipata, Zambia passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026, in Dallas, Texas after a long and courageous battle with gastric cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family in his final moments. Jay was a devoted husband to Edel Musukwa and a proud, loving father to Brianna (17), Jayden (13), and Jaylen (6) Musukwa. He was a cherished son to Exildah Musukwa and the late John Musukwa, nephew to Clement and a beloved brother to Maureen, Bwalya, Eliza, Grace and other family members in Zambia. A strong Christian man of faith, Jay lived his life with conviction, generosity, and purpose. He was a pillar in the community as a dedicated businessman, a passionate fitness enthusiast, and a committed philanthropist who believed deeply in uplifting others. His strength, resilience, and servant heart left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. Though his battle was long, his spirit never wavered. He will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his love for family, and the powerful example he set through both hardship and triumph.
