DEWITT COUNTY, Texas – The Texas Association of Counties Risk Management Pool has named a list of winners for the 2025 Making a Difference Award; a list that includes DeWitt County Human Resources Director Ashley Hunt.
The Office of the County Judge released a post on social media recognizing Hunt for the achievement.
Hunt is the Southeast Region recipient of the award, presented annually to “officials and employees who demonstrate exceptional leadership in risk management and loss prevention.”
The post detailed some of Hunt’s accomplishments that earned the achievement, leading the County Safety Committee, starting a policy review committee, and starting an accident prevention plan.
Chosen along with Hunt are Bosque County Auditor and HR Director Darcie Ragsdale of the Northeast Region, Wichita County Judge Jim Johnson of the Northwest Region, and Duval County Tax Assessor-Collector Roberto Elizondo of the Southwest Region.
The winners will be recognized at the annual TAC County Management and Risk Conference that begins March 31 in Williamson County.
