Crews contain large trash fire in southeastern Travis County

TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas — Crews with Travis County Fire Rescue are responding to a large trash fire in southeastern Travis County.

Travis County Fire Rescue said crews contained the fire at around 2:20 p.m. Saturday afternoon in the 8900 block of FM 973.

Firefighters now have the fire under control, Travis County Fire Rescue says.

Crews will remain on scene for an extended period to completely extinguish the fire.
