All southbound lanes on U.S. 75 in Plano are blocked near the President George Bush Turnpike due to a collision, according to the Texas Department of Transportation traffic map.

The map shows traffic being redirected onto the HOV lane and a major traffic jam beginning just north of Spring Creek Parkway.

The crash was confirmed at 6:31 a.m. Traffic cameras show an ambulance and two fire trucks responding, and something has visibly been extinguished.

A vehicle struck the wall of the highway and flipped, catching on fire, with someone potentially stuck inside, according to recordings from a police scanner tracking Collin County. The recordings indicate that emergency responders were still working to clear the scene and certain lanes to relieve traffic at around 7 a.m.
