AUSTIN, Texas — A fire at an apartment complex in southeast Austin shut down part of Oltorf Street on Tuesday morning.
Austin fire crews responded to the fire at 7:11 a.m. near the intersection of Oltorf Street and Pleasant Valley Road.
Officials said the fire has been extinguished, but Oltorf remained blocked in both directions at the intersection. Authorities expect the road to reopen soon.
In their latest update, first responders said there were no injuries.
Any residents who had to evacuate could find shelter and stay warm thanks to a CapMetro bus that was offered to help.
