The fire happened sometime around 7:10 a.m. along the 2500 block of East Oltorf St., according to responders.

AUSTIN, Texas — Crews responded to an apartment fire Tuesday morning in southeast Austin. 

According to the Austin Fire Department (AFD), responders arrived sometime around 7:10 a.m. to the 2500 block of East Oltorf St.

Once on scene, AFD was able to extinguish the fire, but the cause remains unknown as an investigation is underway. No injuries have been reported. 

East Oltorf was closed to traffic when crews arrived.

Any residents impacted by the fire can take a CapMetro bus for the time being.
