APD said Caleb Jenkins was arrested on Jan. 26 in Sacramento, California, and charged with murder in the death of Quinton Arnold. Jenkins was extradited to the Travis County Jail on Feb. 18.  

The charge stems from a shooting on Oct. 12, 2025, at a 7-Eleven at 1822 Rutland Drive. Officers found Arnold, 37, lying on the ground next to his vehicle with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.  

Detectives believe Arnold was standing outside the store when a vehicle pulled up, shot him and drove away.  

The case remains under investigation.Â
