LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The Lubbock music community will gather Sunday, March 1, 2026, for Mike Pritchard’s Friends Fest, an afternoon of live music honoring the life and legacy of Mike Pritchard.
The event runs from 2 to 7 p.m. at Texas Cafe & Bar – The Spoon, 3604 50th St.
Friends Fest marks more than four decades of Pritchard’s influence on the Lubbock music scene. The event brings together friends, fellow musicians and fans for live performances and shared memories.

Proceeds from the event will go to The Condra School, which provides student-centered education for learners in a nontraditional academic environment.
“Mike Pritchard’s impact on the Lubbock music community is immeasurable,” said Jennifer Loper, Social Media Chair for Friends Fest. “This event is not only a celebration of incredible live music, but also a way for us to honor Mike’s legacy by giving back to a cause that makes a meaningful difference in students’ lives.”
