Get ready to paint the town green, Dallas, for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival is set to return. Kicking off on March 14th, the largest St. Patrick’s Parade in the Southwest regularly draws over 100,000 attendants to marvel at the emerald procession and revel in the amazing festivities. Continue the article below to find out everything you need to know about the St. Patrick’s festivities planned for Dallas this March.

The 45th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival takes place on March 14. Ahead of the official parade, a special festive market will coincide with the parade. At 9 am, the Festive Market will open near the Meadows Building with live music, food trucks, as well as over 100 vendors. Admission is of course completely free.

The parade itself will commence at Blackwell Street and Greenville Ave. at 11 am. Here, visitors can expect over 90 floats, bands, and performances in a festive atmosphere until 2 pm when it will conclude at SMU Blvd.

Entrance to the Lower Greenville Block Party is priced at $20 (cash only). The event runs until 6 pm on March 14, but the bars will remain open until 2 am.

For more active folks, the St. Paddy’s Day Dash Down Greenville 5K will take place at 9 am at Energy Square the day of the parade and festival. Due to limited parking, officials recommend taking Dart or opting for rideshare.

If the parade and festival has you wanting more, the St. Paddy’s Pickle Parade & Palooza will return to Mansfield the week after on March 21.
